Revelation 6: The Four Horsemen & the Seven Seals

By Robert Hunt
.
Some scholars believe we have already entered the tribulation, and that all of the four horsemen have begun to ride.  Many others believe the seven seals parallel the conditions Christ outlined in His Olivet Discourse.  Yet other scholar’s base their beliefs on the various colors of the horses in the first four seals.  But since I disagree with all of the theories above, I had to take a road less traveled.  So I set out to blaze a new trail.

Antichrist – A very popular misconception

I’ll try to keep this post very short this time.  The apostle John mentioned the term “antichrist” only five (5) times and in four (4) verses of scripture, in the book’s of 1 John and 2 John.  He also penned the book of Revelation near the end of the first century; but I find it very, very interesting that he did not mention “antichrist,” not even once in the book of Revelation.  Have you ever wondered why he failed to mention antichrist in the book of Revelation?  Maybe, just maybe there’s a good reason, and I believe there is.  And I believe the passage below left us a very strong clue. FOR THOSE WHO SAY, “THERE WILL BE NO RAPTURE.”

It is true the word “rapture” isn’t found in the Bible.  However, Jesus called it the “gathering together of His elect” and it’s in red letters.  There was no single word in the first century to describe this previously unknown event when it was first introduced as a mystery.  So Christ and the apostle Paul said a phrase in their own words to describe it instead.  This future event was foretold nearly 2000 years ago (Dan. 12:2, Matt. 24:30-31, 1 Thes. 4:16-17 & 1 Cor. 15:51-53), and today we simply call it the rapture, short & simple. The 7 Year Tribulation Misconception

By: Robert Hunt
.
Many biblical scholars’ and teachers refer to Daniel’s 70th week as the so-called 7 year tribulation, and they believe the son of perdition will commit the abomination of desolation in the middle of this seven year period.  I, too, agree that the future man of sin will commit the abomination in the middle of the seven years, but this 7 year period is not the biblical tribulation.  It’s true that the abomination of desolation will occur in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week, but it will also precede the actual tribulation period.  Therein lies the problem; and referring to Daniel’s 70th week as the so-called 7 year tribulation has done nothing but confuse a lot of sincere believers who are seeking God’s truth. THE READINESS RAPTURE: It’s not just another Rapture theory

By Robert Hunt
.
This may seem kind of strange to some, but when I got saved in the summer of 1989, the Lord told me I was going to write, even though I wasn’t even a writer then.  I’ll spare you the long story of how all of that unfolded, but, yes, it was strange indeed.  Nevertheless, after many years of diligent study I would go on to publish a book, which isn’t really all that uncommon these days.  But what seems really odd, even to me, is that my book also contains a brand new rapture theory that just seems to have developed accidentally.  I mean, it was never my intention to create a new rapture theory.  The thought had never even crossed my mind.  This new theory just seemed to happen somehow, when I was breaking down the scriptures and writing my manuscript, which took seven years after many years of study.  In fact, I didn’t even notice the new theory until I finished proof-reading the first proof-copy of my book.  I was checking for errors before it went to print and that’s when it finally hit me! Why the Cosmic Signs of the Son of Man and the 6th Seal occur at different times

By Robert Hunt – Oct. 28, 2017
.
Many scholars believe that Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 6:12-15 are speaking about the same event and time.  At first glance they may appear to be the same event, but I’m going to show how they are different events that will occur at least two (2) weeks apart.  This is important to know because many believe the rapture and second coming will occur on the same day.  This blog post will blow that theory right out of the water.  Let’s begin by comparing the two passages of scripture below. Why the Sign of the Son of Man is the Rapture – not the Second Coming

By Robert Hunt
.
No doubt, the rapture has become a very controversial subject among Christians, and some don’t even believe it will happen.  The apostle Paul called it a profound mystery.  Christ’s disciples asked Him for the sign of His coming and the end of the age (Matt. 24:3).  Yet many scholars today don’t believe that Matthew 24 has anything to do with the rapture, but only the second coming instead.  Many other scholars believe it relates to both, the rapture and the second coming.  But what if both of those beliefs are incorrect?  Suppose the sign of the Son of man and the gathering of His elect in Matthew 24 is only the rapture, and not His physical second coming to the earth.  That would change everything, right?  But wait, there’s more, a lot more!
